A team of experts and researchers has found at least 800-year-old human skeletons off the coast of Peru. According to an archaeologist involved in the excavation, the skeleton belonged to a man of culture between the coast and the South American country.
However, the gender identity of the person has not been revealed. According to archaeologist Peter van Dalen Luna, the skeleton was found in the Lima area.
According to Luna, the body was tied with a rope and her face was covered with her hands. But such a situation is interpreted as a local funeral rite in the area. An investigation team from the University of San Marcos found the body. The team also said it would investigate the human skeleton further.
The team of experts has claimed that the person belongs to a high Indian region. Remains of vegetables and stone tools are also kept in the grave. Peru is considered an important destination for historical human civilization and other archeological studies.
